Potensic brings ATOM 3 to IFA 2026 in Berlin under the theme “SEE BEYOND”

Potensic ATOM 3 is the centerpiece of the company’s return to IFA Berlin, where the maker of lightweight camera drones is exhibiting at Messe Berlin for the third year in a row. The drone, which the brand describes as its latest camera model, anchors a presence built around the theme “SEE BEYOND,” a phrase meant to encourage creators to step away from familiar angles and try fresh approaches to visual storytelling. The announcement was issued from Berlin on September 7, 2026.

Potensic positions itself as a global brand focused on small camera drones, and the ATOM 3 fits that description closely. It was built with travel, outdoor exploration and everyday content creation in mind, and it weighs less than 249 grams. That weight places it in Europe’s EASA C0 category, which the company says lets owners get airborne with fewer regulatory requirements than heavier aircraft face.

Potensic ATOM 3 Camera and Flight Specifications

The camera system is the main story for this model. The ATOM 3 carries a 1/1.3-inch sensor paired with a 48mm dual-focal camera, a combination the company says can handle sweeping landscape shots as well as tighter close-ups of a subject. Video is recorded at 4K/60fps with HDR, which Potensic says holds onto detail across a broad range of lighting situations rather than losing it in bright skies or shadowed foregrounds.

Flight endurance and range round out the specification sheet. The European version offers up to 40 minutes of flight time, and the drone supports video transmission at distances of up to 16 kilometers. An updated subject tracking feature called AI Follow 2.0 is included as well, aimed at keeping a moving person in frame without constant manual input from the pilot. Taken together, Potensic says these capabilities give travelers, hikers, cyclists and families more freedom to record their experiences from perspectives that would otherwise be hard to reach.

Early European Sales and Retail Availability

The ATOM 3 went on sale June 10, 2026, and Potensic reports quick early traction across Europe. During its debut month, the drone entered Amazon Germany’s Hot New Releases chart, and it has since earned ratings of 4.6 stars and above across European Amazon marketplaces. It has also drawn coverage from technology and drone outlets including TechRadar, heise online, T3 and FlytPath, and Tom’s Guide named it among the best beginner drones. That momentum set the stage for the brand’s third consecutive appearance at IFA 2026, where the drone is now on display for show visitors in Berlin.

Pricing starts at €379.99. Potensic sells the ATOM 3 across Europe through Amazon and a broad group of retailers that includes MediaMarkt, Saturn, Allegro, bol, Alza, RTV EURO AGD, Digitec and Kamera Express. Buyers can also order the drone directly from the official Potensic store, giving the product a mix of online and physical retail reach across multiple European countries. The company credits its retail partners, along with media and creator partners, as part of the push behind the drone’s European rollout.

Perry Yuan, Vice President of Potensic, framed the European market as central to how the company measures itself. He described the region as the company’s most important market and said its high standards continue to push the brand to improve as a global company.

“Europe is our most important market, and its high standards continue to push us to become a better global company.” Perry Yuan, Vice President of Potensic

Yuan added that the company, working alongside its retail, media and creator partners, wants to give more people the freedom to explore new perspectives and to fly free while shooting like a professional. Potensic was founded in 2014 and designs lightweight camera drones intended to make aerial imaging accessible to a wider audience. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries through online and retail channels, and the Berlin showcase marks the third straight year the brand has used IFA to put its newest camera drone in front of the public.
