SkyPSI has taken its business beyond Texas with the release of the SkyPSI drone app, a free tool called Operator+ that maps commercial buildings across the United States and attaches an estimated price to the drone cleaning job on each property. The company announced the launch on November 3, 2026, roughly two months after it began operating in Dallas-Fort Worth with a model built around independent drone operators.
The scope of the database is large. According to SkyPSI, Operator+ covers 17.1 million commercial buildings nationwide, and the average job listed in the app is worth $13,500. Getting started is simple, since the only thing a user needs to open the app is a Google account. The company designed the tool with small cleaning crews in mind, rather than large firms that already have staff dedicated to finding and pricing work.
How the SkyPSI Drone App Finds and Prices Work
Founder Vic Pellicano has said that the toughest part of launching a business was never the labor itself. The real obstacle was learning where the jobs were and how much to charge for them. Big contractors pay estimators and sales teams to answer those questions, while a two-person crew with a drone and a pickup truck is usually left to guess. Operator+ was built to narrow that difference between large and small players.
“Every building in your city is a job somebody is going to get paid for. The only question is whether you know about it. For years that information belonged to the big players. We just put it in everybody’s pocket.” Vic Pellicano, Founder of SkyPSI
The SkyPSI drone app rests on three main features. The first is nationwide access, which lets an operator see every commercial building in their metro area along with the service each property needs. The second is SkyEstimate, which puts a dollar figure on a building’s cleaning job and explains the method behind that number, giving operators a solid basis for their quotes. The third piece of SkyPSI Operator+ is an assistant named Sky, which serves as a virtual Crew Chief inside every account, answering questions and steering operators toward buildings that match their crew.
The app grows out of the operator program SkyPSI started in August, when its cleaning drones business went live in Dallas-Fort Worth. The company sells the contracts, trains and certifies independent operators, and supplies them with professional cleaning drones. Operator+ now gives those operators, along with anyone else who signs in, a way to look for work on their own.
Free Accounts, Paid Plans and a Nationwide Rollout
A free account unlocks every SkyEstimate and displays what each building pays directly on the map. It also comes with scheduling tools, customer and job tracking, online invoice payments, and access to Sky. Paid plans go a step further by supplying immediate contact information for the decision-makers who sign cleaning contracts for these properties. Every new account begins with a 30-day Starter trial.
SkyPSI’s original plan was to grow from Dallas-Fort Worth through the Texas Triangle and then into every American city. The SkyPSI drone app reaches those markets ahead of the company’s physical expansion. An operator in Phoenix, Pittsburgh or Portland can sign in today and view the commercial buildings nearby, along with the estimated value of each job.
The company sees a large and largely untapped market. SkyPSI says commercial cleaning is on track to reach $860 billion by 2034, while robots currently handle only about 1% of that work. Drones may also change how often buildings get cleaned. Facades that were washed once a year because rope access was risky and costly can instead be cleaned several times a year from the ground, with an FAA-certified pilot operating the drone.
Operator+ begins with commercial exterior cleaning because that is the area where SkyPSI already sells contracts, trains operators and backs each job. The underlying platform was built to support more than cleaning, and the company plans to add new solutions over time, including other commercial equipment and services, to give operators additional ways to earn income.
