DefendEye’s fully autonomous, US-made AI drone requires no piloting skills, thanks to its purpose-built design for first responders and the military.

Instant-launch AI drones are moving closer to day to day deployment for public safety and defense users after NOBLE announced a distribution agreement with DefendEye. The announcement describes DefendEye as an instant-launch, fully autonomous AI search drone designed to provide rapid aerial intelligence for military, government, and first responders, with NOBLE positioned to help agencies acquire systems as mission-aligned packages that include training and support.

According to the announcement, DefendEye is moving its production operations to the United States to become NDAA compliant, with every critical component manufactured in the United States, including circuit board assembly. NOBLE said the partnership will include developing training and mission-specific kits for first responders, government teams, and critical infrastructure security groups, with the goal of moving customers from procurement to deployment with streamlined onboarding and ongoing support.

Instant-Launch AI Drones Are Built for Rapid Deployment Without Piloting Skills

The announcement says DefendEye’s flagship drone is tube-launched, fully autonomous, deploys in under 10 seconds, and requires no pilot skills. It also states that onboard AI detects and tracks subjects, which is intended to deliver situational awareness in high-stress, time-sensitive environments. The release frames this as removing barriers to entry for organizations that need aerial intelligence quickly but may not have dedicated drone pilots or complex training pipelines in place.

NOBLE said it plans to package the system in ways that match real operational needs, including configurable drone kits and training delivered by subject matter experts with operational experience. The announcement also says NOBLE will use its government support and procurement capabilities to help agencies acquire and deploy DefendEye systems as complete, mission-aligned packages, which is intended to simplify deployment for organizations that rely on formal purchasing processes.

“We are proud to offer innovative solutions to the law enforcement, security, and defense sectors. DefendEye’s solution enables instant drone deployment with minimal training. Additionally, this solution is economically accessible, allowing even mid-sized and smaller organizations to deploy advanced aerial capabilities.” Tom Noble, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of NOBLE

The announcement includes background on DefendEye’s platform and positioning. It describes DefendEye as designing and manufacturing tube-launched autonomous aerial systems focused on delivering rapid situational awareness for teams operating in time-critical environments. It also states the company is headquartered in Kraków, Poland, and that its flagship platform combines onboard AI and cloud connectivity to enable fast deployment and real-time video delivery without traditional piloting complexity.

In the middle of the partnership description, DefendEye is described as vertically integrated, with the company saying it designs and manufactures critical components in-house, including flight controllers, cameras, motors, and GPS units. The announcement also states that to operate fully with the Department of Defense, DefendEye has restructured to ensure zero foreign influence, that over 65% of its shareholders are U.S. citizens, and that employees and remaining stakeholders are screened to ensure no ties to adversarial entities.

Instant-Launch AI Drones Are Packaged for Procurement, Training, and Field Use

The distribution agreement is positioned as a deployment and support partnership rather than only a product listing. NOBLE said it will develop training and mission-specific kits intended to help customers move faster from acquisition to operational use. The announcement also states that NOBLE’s supply chain includes over 15,000 suppliers and millions of products, and that the company supports U.S. Military and civilian government customers with mission-critical products and services across multiple domains.

“We are excited to partner with NOBLE. NOBLE’s infrastructure and expertise help us deliver our technology with the highest standards of readiness and support.” James Buchheim, CEO of DefendEye

In the announcement, the partnership is framed around providing rapid, effortless aerial intelligence to organizations that need immediate situational awareness. NOBLE said it will support agencies in acquiring and deploying DefendEye systems with streamlined onboarding, training, and sustainment, while DefendEye’s production move to the United States is described as enabling NDAA compliance through U.S. manufacturing of critical components.

The release positions the agreement as an effort to make instant-launch AI drones easier to adopt across first responder and defense environments by reducing barriers tied to piloting skills, training burden, and procurement complexity. By combining DefendEye’s autonomous platform with NOBLE’s procurement and support infrastructure, the companies said they aim to deliver drone capabilities as ready-to-use packages aligned with urgent operational missions.
