Antigravity A1 360 drones are being added to the Drone Nerds product lineup through XTI Aerospace, which said the new model is designed to help creators capture surround view footage in a single flight. The announcement positions the Antigravity A1 as an all in one 8K 360 drone intended for immersive aerial storytelling, with features that aim to reduce repeat flights and expand options in post production.

XTI Aerospace said it is building and scaling Drone Nerds, a subsidiary that serves enterprise and government the Antigravity A1 as a creator focused platform that captures its surroundings using a dual lens system mounted above and below the fuselage, with the goal of keeping the drone out of the final footage. This design is intended to let users revisit and reframe scenes after the flight instead of trying to get every angle in real time.

The release also highlighted how the drone can be paired with Vision Goggles for an immersive 360 view experience, allowing users to look in any direction while viewing footage. That combination is framed as a shift from traditional piloting to a more interactive way to experience flight and review scenes.

Antigravity A1 360 Drones Target Single Flight Full Scene Capture

Antigravity A1 360 drones are built around the idea that one flight can capture an entire scene, giving creators flexibility to choose angles later. XTI Aerospace said the A1 records 8K 360 video and uses a dual lens setup to support surround view capture. The company also said this approach can reduce the need for additional flights, which can save time and help manage battery usage when a project calls for multiple viewpoints.

Drone Nerds CEO Jeremy Schneiderman said customers are looking for tools that improve efficiency while expanding what is possible from the air, and he described the Antigravity A1 as supporting both goals through full scene capture and more control during editing. The company framed the addition as a way to broaden its portfolio with a differentiated option aimed at immersive content creation.

“Our customers are continually looking for tools that improve efficiency while expanding what’s possible from the air,” Jeremy Schneiderman, CEO of Drone Nerds

Manufacturer listed specifications included video capture up to 8K at 30, 25, or 24 frames per second, along with additional 5.2K and 4K modes. Still image capability was listed at up to 55MP. XTI Aerospace also shared two battery configurations, with maximum flight time listed at up to 24 minutes using a standard battery and up to 39 minutes using a high capacity battery under specific testing conditions.

Flight distance per charge was also included in the listed specifications, with a maximum of up to 8 miles, or 13 km, using the standard battery and up to 14.3 miles, or 23 km, using the high capacity battery under specific testing conditions. For sensing, the A1 was described as using forward obstacle sensors combined with dual fisheye lenses to expand environmental perception and assist with navigation and obstacle awareness.

Drone Nerds Expands Creator Options for 8K 360 UAV Workflows

Drone Nerds said the Antigravity A1 is now available through its online store, which connects the new drone to a broader product catalog aimed at professional and enterprise buyers. By bringing the A1 to market through Drone Nerds, the companies are tying a creator focused 360 drone to a distributor that already serves a wide range of industry and government customers.

Antigravity CEO Michael Shabun said the partnership with Drone Nerds is intended to bring the A1 to a broader community of professional creators. He described the A1 as a new approach to aerial storytelling that is designed to offer more creative control and flexibility while simplifying the capture process, and he added that hobbyists can use it as a new way to experience the world from an aerial perspective.

“Partnering with Drone Nerds enables us to bring Antigravity A1 to a broader community of professional creators,” Michael Shabun, CEO of Antigravity

XTI Aerospace described Drone Nerds as a provider of drone solutions for enterprise, private, and recreational needs, and said the business was established in 2014. It also referenced the company’s Always Flying program, which it said supports reliability and assurance for enterprise implementations across multiple verticals, including public safety, agriculture, construction, insurance, energy, and inspection.

The announcement frames the Antigravity A1 as a tool for creators who want immersive capture without needing multiple flights to cover a scene. If the listed performance figures hold in real world conditions, the combination of 8K 360 video, high resolution stills, and the option for longer flight time could make the A1 a practical fit for projects where re framing footage after capture is a core part of the workflow.
