A highlight of the evening was undoubtedly when the fireworks and drones lit up to reveal a show display inspired by San Fransokyo Street – one of the seven themed areas onboard the Disney Adventure (PRNewsfoto/Disney Cruise Line)

Disney Cruise Line wrapped up a spectacular three-night drone and fireworks sky show over Singapore’s Marina Bay this weekend, marking the largest concurrent drone and fireworks display ever staged in the country. The event, held from 13 to 15 March 2026, celebrated the arrival of the Disney Adventure, the cruise line’s first ship based in Asia. The celebration followed the vessel’s maiden voyage on 10 March 2026 and was organized in partnership with UOB, Marina Bay Sands, and the Singapore Tourism Board.

Drone and Fireworks Sky Show Brings Disney Storytelling to Marina Bay

The vibrant 10-minute display combined choreographed drones and fireworks to bring Disney storytelling to life over one of Singapore’s most recognizable skylines. Each performance drew visual inspiration from the Disney Adventure and its seven themed areas, which include Disney Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Discovery Reef, and Marvel Landing. The nightly shows were set to a medley of well-known Disney music, creating a visual and musical experience for spectators gathered around the Marina Bay area.

As a tribute to the Disney Adventure’s new home in Singapore, the drone and fireworks sky show featured designs with distinctly local touches. Peranakan-inspired motifs referenced Singapore’s National Flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, and the country’s iconic Merlion. Nautical-themed elements tied to Disney Cruise Line were also woven into the aerial choreography, blending the cruise brand’s identity with Singapore’s multicultural heritage.

Disney Adventure Drone Display Highlights New Asia-Based Cruise Operations

The event was part of a broader initiative titled “Adventure Begins: A Magical Bay Celebration with Disney Cruise Line.” While the sky show portion has now concluded, the wider festivities are set to continue through 30 April 2026. Visitors to the Marina Bay precinct can still explore Disney Cruise Line-themed photo spots, participate in activities, and take advantage of special promotions offered by participating merchants throughout the area.

The Disney Adventure itself draws on more than 100 years of Disney, Marvel, and Pixar storytelling. The ship is now sailing from Singapore on three- and four-night voyages. Each sailing promises onboard entertainment, dining, and retail experiences themed around the vessel’s seven distinct areas. Guests interested in booking can do so through the cruise line’s website or through preferred travel agents.

The drone and fireworks sky show represented a significant moment for both Disney Cruise Line and Singapore’s tourism landscape. Staging the largest concurrent drone and fireworks display in the country demonstrated the scale of investment behind the Disney Adventure’s homeporting in Singapore. The collaboration between the cruise line, UOB, Marina Bay Sands, and the Singapore Tourism Board reflected a coordinated effort to position the arrival as a major event for the region’s travel and entertainment industry.

With the Disney Adventure now operating regular sailings out of Singapore, the vessel adds a new dimension to the country’s cruise tourism offerings. The three-night and four-night itineraries provide travelers across Asia with access to a Disney-branded cruise experience that was previously unavailable in the region. The Marina Bay celebration served as a large-scale introduction to the ship and the experiences it offers, using drone technology and pyrotechnics to create a visual spectacle that drew crowds across multiple nights.
