Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences has teamed with live events platform Fever to announce a large-scale open-air drone production called DroneArt Show: Harry Potter. The experience will send 1,200 synchronized Harry Potter Drones into the night sky above selected cities, blending aerial choreography with music and dialogue from the film series. The companies confirmed that the production will begin its worldwide run in Los Angeles on June 13, with additional stops planned across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
The production arrives as the Harry Potter franchise marks 25 years of cultural impact, and organizers have built the show around iconic moments that longtime fans will recognize instantly. Audiences can expect a mix of live musical performance, glowing aerial formations, and on-the-ground interactivity, all set against the backdrop of an outdoor evening venue. The overall goal is to turn familiar scenes into something newly shareable for wizards, witches, and Muggles alike.
Harry Potter Drones Bring Iconic Scenes to the Sky
At the heart of the experience are 1,200 illuminated Harry Potter Drones that move in coordinated formations above the crowd. The aerial artwork is set to music and dialogue from the film series, and a live violinist performs alongside the drone choreography to give the soundtrack a concert-style dimension. Memorable scenes from the films are reimagined as sweeping shapes of light, allowing each show to flow from one familiar moment to the next without breaking its visual storytelling.
Interactivity is another core part of the design. Every attendee receives an LED wristband that syncs with the performance, extending the glowing canvas from the sky down to the audience itself. The combination of coordinated drones, live music, and synchronized wristbands reflects a wider trend seen in recent large-scale drone light experience productions that mix storytelling with technology, and it gives the event a feel closer to an immersive concert than a traditional fireworks display.
Los Angeles World Premiere at Dodger Stadium
The global tour begins with a one-night-only 25th Anniversary event on June 13 at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever have shaped this opening date specifically around the franchise milestone, and the producers have added curated moments that are exclusive to the premiere. The venue, an open-air setting inside a major sports stadium, gives the 1,200-drone fleet plenty of space to form sweeping shapes visible from across the seating bowl.
Company leadership spoke about the significance of the opening show and the broader project. Kathleen Wallis, a Vice President at Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, framed the partnership as a new way to introduce the franchise to fans who have grown up alongside the films.
“The Harry Potter films have captivated generations of fans around the world, and DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ offers a spectacular new way to experience their magic. We are thrilled to collaborate on this innovative experience that celebrates the legacy of the world of Harry Potter through music, technology and storytelling, creating a shared moment of wonder for audiences around the world.” Kathleen Wallis, Vice President at Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences
A Global Tour Built on Fever’s Live Entertainment Slate
After the Los Angeles premiere, DroneArt Show: Harry Potter will travel to additional stops across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Fever positions the tour as part of its ongoing effort to connect global audiences with cultural events, and the company’s platform will serve as the central channel for early access through its app and website. Tickets are expected to be limited at each location, and organizers are directing interested audiences to a waiting list to secure first notice of announced dates.
Beyond the aerial spectacle, each event will include food and beverage options along with official Harry Potter merchandise, making the experience a multi-hour outing rather than a short flyover. Fans can find official show details and join the waiting list on the dedicated DroneArt Show website, which will carry city-by-city updates as more dates are confirmed. Isabel Solano, Global Vice President of Original Experiences at Fever, described the project as a natural extension of the company’s broader mission.
“DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ represents another major milestone in Fever’s global mission to bring cultural experiences for broad audiences. Through this collaboration, we continue to merge cutting-edge technology, artistic direction and powerful storytelling, transforming one of the world’s most iconic cinematic universes into an unforgettable large-scale live spectacle that brings fans together in a truly unique and magical way.” Isabel Solano, Global Vice President of Original Experiences at Fever
Full programming details and ticket sale dates have not been announced for individual cities beyond the Los Angeles premiere, but Fever has confirmed that the wider tour will move through America, the United Kingdom, and continental Europe throughout its run. With 1,200 Harry Potter Drones in the sky and a live soundtrack below, the production is positioned as a touring event that fans of the film series will want to plan ahead for.
