SeaWorld has rolled out its Fourth of July Sale across parks in Orlando, San Diego and San Antonio, pairing the year’s biggest ticket discounts with a summer lineup built around nightly entertainment. Among the headline draws are the new SeaWorld drone shows that close out the evening at each location, turning the night sky into a moving canvas of light timed to music and ocean themes.
The sale was announced on June 16, 2026, and ties into celebrations of America’s 250th birthday. It runs for a limited time and lets guests save on single-day tickets, Fun Cards and Annual Passes, while the parks layer in fireworks, concerts, new rides and up-close animal experiences. The drone displays sit near the center of that mix, giving families a fresh reason to stay well past sunset at all three of the mainland SeaWorld destinations across the country.
What the Fourth of July Sale Offers
The Fourth of July Sale gives each park its own set of deals. At SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando, guests can save up to 55 percent on tickets, Fun Cards and Annual Passes. SeaWorld San Diego is running a buy-one-get-one structure, where a single-day ticket comes with a free second visit and one Annual Pass comes with a second Annual Pass at no extra cost. In Texas, SeaWorld San Antonio and Aquatica San Antonio bundle a SeaWorld Pass with free Aquatica admission for as low as $99.99, plus a two-day, two-park ticket priced at $30 per day.
The company is also honoring U.S. military active-duty members, veterans and their families with free park admission. Eligible service members can register for a complimentary single-day ticket for themselves along with three additional free tickets for dependents, valid for visits through July 5. Registration runs through the Waves of Honor program and must be completed by June 21. Nighttime drone entertainment has become a common draw at major theme parks this summer, including sister attraction Busch Gardens, and SeaWorld leans into that trend across all three of its mainland parks.
SeaWorld Drone Shows Light Up Each Park
The SeaWorld drone shows differ from park to park, with each one built into that location’s summer event. At SeaWorld Orlando, the drones are part of Electric Ocean, the park’s premier nighttime event, which this year adds an all-new Electric Drone Show alongside three new nighttime animal presentations, the cirque-style Hydro Surge show and the returning IGNITE Fireworks Spectacular. Guests can move between glowing light environments and Club SeaGlow dance experiences before the drones take flight above the park.
Out west, SeaWorld San Diego is debuting its first-ever Ocean of Dreams drone spectacular, a display the park describes as show-stopping as it lights up the night sky. It joins a summer slate of new daytime and nighttime animal presentations along with a Summer Concert Series featuring chart-topping artists from the 1990s and early 2000s. SeaWorld San Antonio goes biggest in scale with the SeaWorld Illuminight Drone Finale, which uses 400 synchronized drones to close out its Electric Ocean event in the night sky each evening of the run.
Summer Thrills Beyond the Night Sky
Beyond the drone displays, each park is filling its summer calendar with new rides and patriotic programming. SeaWorld Orlando hosts a Fourth of July Celebration with family activities and a fireworks display, then follows with Red, White and BBQ running through Aug. 23, featuring regional barbecue, live music and patriotic entertainment. Thrill seekers can also ride the new Expedition Odyssey: Fire and Ice flying theater, which sends guests soaring over icy glaciers and fiery volcanic eruptions.
SeaWorld San Diego marks July 4 with a fireworks display and holds morning Flag Ceremonies on July 3 through 5 to honor military members, plus a Military Appreciation Weekend on July 13 and 14. Its new Shark Encounter brings guests face to fin with 11 species of sharks. SeaWorld San Antonio celebrates with a Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular on July 4 and 5 and a rare Texas concert from the United States Air Force Band of the West on June 26 and July 5, while its new Barracuda Strike is billed as the tallest inverted family coaster in North America.
The two Aquatica waterparks round out the holiday offerings. Aquatica Orlando features 50 slides along with rare Commerson’s dolphins, while Aquatica San Antonio adds a large water playground and neon-themed AquaGlow nights that run on select dates into September. SeaWorld’s Fourth of July Sale and its summer entertainment are available for a limited time, with park-specific schedules and pricing posted on each location’s website.
